I support labor because the country is better off if everyone has a roof over their heads and food on the table. It means less crime, less violence, fewer people living and dying in the street, fewer people locked up in prison. More stability for kids and better access to education and healthcare than if they are homeless. The Kistah Maha Yeeeeah When I Get High Almost Peed Trash Fill Shirt country spent months just to make a temporary Prime Minister a formal one, no problem has been solved and even separated civilians more with ideology, I don’t think I understand politics either. Thankfully he didn’t and now the markets are rallying hard pushing up people’s pension fund valuations, investment returns, reducing import and travel costs, keeping lending rates lower and stimulating investment growth and thus job opportunities but hey ho the kids will tell us what’s wrong or a disaster. As the whole Brexit issue hasn’t been going anywhere for such a long time there have been far too many people starting to believe that their vote ‘doesn’t matter so what’s the point’ and it’s becoming a big issue.

But if you ask me, if you don’t like the way things are going and you never voted then you were the Kistah Maha Yeeeeah When I Get High Almost Peed Trash Fill Shirt to bring this unhappiness on yourself. My vote didn’t get me what I wanted this year but there’s no way I’m going to throw it away, so always go and vote. The hope of a younger generation for a better world should not be ignored or derided. Tory lies, and people believing them have taken that away and they now have a majority to carry on screwing the poor and making the rich richer. I brought my children up to be decent human beings, and they are in the high tax bracket and/or successful and contented. They voted for the others and the poorest in society. I am the older generation and I wouldn’t dream of voting Tory/austerity. I am fully aware that I was privileged but also worked hard. The socialists don’t want to ‘take it all off them’. They want everyone to benefit from their own hard work and distribution of taxes. I do not want to be a party or part of ‘hardcore capitalism’ ‘there but for the grace of God go I’ something somebody taught me years ago. As I have always told my children, work hard, decide what you want, and do what makes you happy.
