The most impartial Speaker in my lifetime. Good to hear he has his head screwed on with respect to the calamity that is Brexit too. I am surprised he can even spell impartiality as to his professionalism all that means is he made sure he was paid no matter how well he did his job. I have personally also held that the people who voted to exit perhaps would need another chance to reaffirm or back-out from what they started. Speaking to friends in the UK, it appears the whole impact was seen in the months the exit failed to happen initially. The withdrawals of certain products out of fear of uncertainty had gotten many to rethink their position to exit. Is it possible for the British democratic system to go back to the people to test their position on this matter once again?
You taught Me many things in life except how to get through life without you I miss you Mom shirt, Hoodie, Sweatshirt and Tanktop
I believe the outcome would be different. Whether he is for or against Brexit has absolutely nothing to do with his term in the house. He was always going to be one or the other. He remained impartial and he did do his job professionally contrary to those who state otherwise and probably didn’t even know who he was until today. Sorry to pop your balloon but it is the case. Read all the other reactions to my comment. Not one single person has given any evidence to the contrary except being rude like yourself. He did not remain impartial as his position demands. He gave every opportunity to those in Parliament who did not agree with the democratic process that demanded that our elected representatives take us.
